It's 2012
Maya hopes this will be a good year for us all. Maya sure hopes so anyway……
We’re forging ahead, though we have had a few sit backs due to each of us having family obligations with helping out our parents and then just life in general. We had to cancel a half a doz. shows this past Fall, but Maya believes we’ll be getting out there among you again this coming year. Maya hopes we’ll be playing somewhere cosmic on 12:21:12.
Maya also thinks our new music is coming together very nicely and the next CD/EP will be our best one yet, though Maya couldn’t promise anyone will hear it after 12:21:12.
Enough with the Mayan calendar references, Maya’s gonna' stop it now…

There are a couple of videos you might be interested in checking out. First, we put together a trippy little YouTube for Randle’s song “Waiting On The Sun” off the last EP.

Next there is a nice little homegrown YouTube out there that includes us playing this past summer at the Rain Masters reunion / backyard picnic celebrating among other things, the homecoming of members of the James River Band.

Julie and Gary Alexander hosted the gathering and their Rain Master was decked out for a great outdoor party. It was a brutally hot afternoon with thunderstorms on the horizon. We got set up, played two songs and the heavy rain began. Everyone joined in to help move our instruments into a large garage to wait out the storm. The rain wouldn’t stop (you’ll hear it in the background towards the end of the video) so we just started playing in the corner of garage, surrounded by a bunch of wet, but happy people. Janet Replogle took the video of the party. She and her husband, Roger, were two of the organizers of the reunion party. We want to thank all of the folks who worked on this, the James River Band, Julie and Gary for hosting the party at their place, Roger and Janet Replogle, Dennis Beck, Joey, Rocky, Terry, Rusty, John, ALL of our Marshfield friends. We know it was a lot of work but we were glad to be a part of it all. Thanks for inviting us to play music.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holidays and we’re looking forward to seeing you in the new year.
